Volunteer Service Center

The Volunteer Service Center accepts and manages qualified volunteers in the following church departments and ministry areas.

Continuing Education & Professional Development a department  of  the Joseph Center® that provides training and assistance with career development, GED  test preparation, Career/Skills Training workshops in English as a Second Language, Literacy, and several levels of Computer Technology and Spanish classes. 

Altar and Communion Workers assist in ministering to those persons who come forward for prayer and help in preparing communion.

Audio/Projection Ministry is responsible for all sanctuary audio recordings, the sanctuary sound system, and the video overlays of lyrics and messages on the sanctuary screen.  

Baptism Ministry prepares candidates for water baptism and teaches the steps for the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

Bible Training Center & School of Ministry is responsible for administrative duties and facilitating, setting-up, coordinating and providing assistance for all Bible Training classes. The Missions Ministry under the auspices of the School of Ministry, provides clerical and administrative help with special projects, outreach, Missions Conferences, and the planning of mission trips.

Canaanland Kids for Christ/Kids for Christ Nursery  provides loving and nurturing environments for toddlers and infants, as well as equipping young saints to go into the world as leaders, thoroughly established in the Word of God.  Children participate in worship, prayer, Bible Study, creative arts and other activities.

Comfort Ministry meets the spiritual and emotional needs of members who have experienced the loss of a loved one. (This ministry provides services under Member Care).

Dance Ministry consists of skilled and anointed individuals who minister periodically during worship services and at special LWCC events.

Drama Ministry consists of individuals committed to evangelizing the lost and edifying the Body of Christ through skits, dramatic productions and videos.

Evangelism Ministry is an outreach to the lost in surrounding communities, ministering the gospel of the kingdom and providing information to non-LWCC members.

Facility Maintenance Ministry is responsible for the maintenance of all LWCC buildings and property, as well as set-up for all events.

Faith Drill Team consistently builds character, leadership, integrity and self-esteem in youth through spiritual and standard discipline, while guiding them towards Christian maturity.

Follow-up Care Ministry (in additional to basic prayer support), provides follow-up calls to recent altar call respondents with congratulations and encouragement,  urging new believers to take Foundation classes .

Foundation Ministry is responsible for managing the 11-week new member classes (taught  by Dr. Winston on video) that are designed to build a strong spiritual foundation in new Living Word Christian Center members.

Greeters International Ministry greets, directs and provides information to the members and guests of each worship service and at other special events.  They also provide fellowship for all nationalities represented at LWCC.

General Office Support Volunteers (BWM & LWCC) assist Bill Winston Ministries and Living Word Christian Center with clerical and administrative duties.

Go Hard for Christ Youth Ministry ministers to the needs of teens who attend LWCC through special programs and activities.

Hospitality Ministry coordinates and provides refreshments for LWCC functions.

Housekeeping Ministry is responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of the church offices and sanctuary.

The Joseph Center® & The Joseph Business School provides professional services and business development to business owners and people interested in starting their own business.

Joshua Youth Choir is responsible for coordination of youth who minister the Word of God through song.

Kingdom Running Club offers a 9-month Program (for ages 16 & older) that combines both Education and Fitness Training in preparation to run a Marathon or Half Marathon held annually.

Loaves & Fishes is responsible for the distribution of food and personal items to those in need.

Media Duplication & Sales is responsible for the duplication and sales of all audio, video, CD’s and DVD’s produced by Living Word Christian Center.

Men’s Fellowship works to create a strong bond of brotherhood and unity among men to enhance their spiritual growth.

Prayer Ministry is responsible for training Believers in the fundamentals of intercessory prayer; intercedes daily through established prayer groups for the Body of Christ, the lost, Bill Winston Ministries, Living Word Christian Center, children educational systems, etc.

Prison Ministry ministers to the needs of the incarcerated, ex-offenders, and provides support to their families.  The Addiction Recovery Ministry is also provides program support.

Quality Service Representative (QSR’s) provides expanded greeter functions e.g., one-on-one escort throughout the ministry campus.

Recreation Ministry provides structured sporting/recreational activities for adults such as basketball, volleyball, softball, bowling, golf, tennis and our running club, which trains for the annual marathon.

Royal Christian Bookstores & Cafes is responsible for the overall operations of the LWCC bookstore as needed (i.e., sales, stock, and set-up) and café operations.

Sanctuary Choir is responsible for coordination of adults who minister the Word of God through song.

Security & Traffic Control Ministry ensures traffic flow during LWCC services and special events and provides security for the property.

Singles Ministry edifies, educates, and guides unmarried Christians in the development and enhancement of their Christian walk and personal relationship with God.

Television Department is responsible for all television production, including directing, graphics, audio, camera operations, stage managing, cable pulling, video control, videotape operation and duplication.

Translation Ministry interprets worship services and Bible Study into Spanish and Polish languages. Also assists with translation of ministry documents.

Transportation Ministry is responsible for transportation to and from the sanctuary for worship services and special events.

Ushers Ministry is responsible for maintaining order in the sanctuary and surrounding meeting places, assisting during church services and special events at LWCC.
