The Foundation Ministry offers Foundation Classes at Living Word Christian Center which represent an eleven-week comprehensive teaching series with Pastor Winston by videotape. The purpose of these classes is to lay a solid spiritual foundation for success in the life of the Believer and create a biblical hunger and desire for God's will. Completion of our Foundation class teaching series is one of the requirements for active membership at Living Word Christian Center. Classes start the 1st and 2nd Sunday of every month at 9:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. in the Mall. For more information, please call us at 708-697-4208.
The class topics are:
Salvation One & Two – Total redemption has been provided to all who believe and accept Jesus Christ because of His life, death, and resurrection. This teaching explains the total plan of redemption and all its benefits.
Holy Spirit – This teaching offers a clear explanation of the importance of the Holy Spirit and the difference between the "with-in" and the "upon" experience for every Believer.
Prayer – It is not surprising that many of us are not aware that there are different types of prayers with various applications for those prayers. In this teaching, promises in the Word of God are given, as well as the basis for the different types of prayers and their various applications.
Faith – The Bible says, “the just shall live by faith…”. This teaching explains what faith is, how a person obtains faith, and how to use faith as a servant, and much more.
Covenant – The highest agreement that one can make on earth is a covenant. This teaching fully explains God's covenant, the reason for the covenant, and how you can have a covenant relationship with God.
Healing – Healing is a provision of salvation! Learn what the Word of God has to say about healing and divine health.
Prosperity – For too long has the Church been viewed as not having enough (i.e. through the vow of poverty, etc.). This teaching will erase all wrong thinking about prosperity and wealth, and truly teach you how God wants you to prosper according to His Word.
Righteousness – This is the foundation for walking in great faith. This teaching sets the tone for knowing our Kingdom rights and the benefits we partake in by being joint-heirs with Jesus. This teaching also explains what righteousness is, and what righteousness is not.
Evangelism – The great commission! God expects all born-again Believers to be effective witnesses. This teaching concludes the Foundation Training Series with an upbeat and stirring message of "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature".
