Think it not strange, the opposition that you are facing. For had I not told you before that the enemy had positioned himself in front of you preparing to devour all that was birthed in this place. For not since the days of Dowie,* has the enemy seen a place from which such authority and from which such power flow. Not since the days of Dowie has the enemy seen a man who has what is necessary to take back the city of Chicago. Not since those days. And so, it should not surprise you that he comes at you in an effort to devour all that goes forth from this place. But I tell you, the gates of hell shall not prevail against what I am doing in this place. For I have raised up this place. The gates of hell shall not prevail against the bank that I have ordained. For I hold that bank in the palm of my hand. For I have ordained that that bank shall be a vehicle through which I shall transfer the wealth of the wicked into the hands of my people. I have ordained it to be a weapon with which I shall infiltrate the domain of the enemy. I have ordained it to be a storehouse for the provision to the nations. For indeed I tell you, from this place shall provision go to the uttermost parts of the earth. I have ordained it. And to you whom I have spoken concerning it, to you I say, return to obedience. For in obedience shall you find the blessings that you are seeking. Return to obedience, for there it is that all that you are looking for is. It has been waiting on your obedience. And to you my beloved ones I say, gird up your loins as never before. Guard that which I have entrusted to you. For even now, the enemy lurks among you seeking to sow pride. For you know, all contention comes from pride and contention breeds division, and division paves the way for destruction. But it shall not be so among you. For I have ordained great and mighty things to go forth from this place. I have ordained you as the people through which I will take back a city that my heart has longed for, has longed for. So I tell you my people, clothe yourself with love. Put it on you and refuse to take it off. And as you do, you shall see your faith go forth with a new intensity. For have I not told you that faith works by love. And as you apply full force, the power of love; as you clothe yourselves with it and hold fast refusing to take it off no matter what, you shall see, you shall see the floodgates of my glory open over you as never before.
