The Joseph Center® was established in 1998 as a result of a vision given to Pastor Winston to provide practical teaching utilizing biblical principles, resources, and a state-of-the-art environment that produces successful Christian entrepreneurs who will create income and employment opportunities for others. Today, The Joseph Center® is one of the few organizations in the Chicago metropolitan area that links small business development to financial services and vocational training.

The goal of the Joseph Center® is to provide a virtual "one-stop" shop for business development, entrepreneurship, and vocational training. As you may be aware, Joseph was called by God and was blessed in the area of business and government. God raised Joseph out of slavery and made all that he did to prosper. God elevated Joseph to govern Egypt, which at that time was the greatest world power. Joseph was second only to Pharoah among men. Even Pharoah recognized that Joseph was under the anointing of God.

We believe that entrepreneurship is a calling from God and The Joseph Center® is an instrument in the hand of God to help train leaders that will make His plan for this earth a reality.

The Joseph Center® is comprised of three divisions: The Joseph Center® for Business Development, The Joseph Center® School of Business & Entrepreneurship, and the Vocational Training Center.

The Joseph Center® for Business Development offers a full range of entrepreneurial programs and services in one location and are designed to train, nurture, and support entrepreneurs in starting and running a successful business. Services that are currently being delivered or planned include:

The Joseph Center® also hosts the Annual Business and Leadership Conference designed to inspire and motivate individuals to pursue higher levels of excellence in leadership and business.

The Joseph Center® has also published a Business Directory that provides the local community and the world with unparalleled business alternatives for goods and services, as well as a source of economic exchange among the Body of Christ. The objectives for the Business Directory are: to bring financial increase to the Body of Christ through Christian-owned businesses; to promote networking and self-sufficiency among the community of Believers; and to provide businesses a vehicle for opportunities to grow and take leadership within the business community.
